A Niagara County grand jury will now weigh the case against a Buffalo Police officer accused of killing his wife in a domestic violence incident in Sanborn.
Lance L. Woods, 53, of Lewiston, waived his right to a preliminary hearing during a virtual proceeding in Lewiston Town Court on Tuesday afternoon.

A 19-year-old is accused of stabbing his grandmother to death at a home on Parkhurst Boulevard in Tonawanda. Miguel Castro, Jr. allegedly stabbed his 57-year-old grandmother, identified as Anna Moore of Tonawanda, on the 1100 block of Parkhurst around noon on Monday.
