A 4-year-old girl died after she was struck by a Panama Central School District bus on Monday morning, according to the Jamestown Police Department.
Officers responded to Milton J. Fletcher Elementary School around 8:10 a.m. to reports of a motor vehicle accident. The girl died at the hospital of her injuries.

ICE confirmed on Friday that it detained four people at the restaurant. ICE said that the four, described as “illegal aliens,” used “evasive maneuvers in an attempt to flee the officers and escape arrest.”

A Buffalo man, 47 year old Antonio Prieto, has pleaded guilty to a manslaughter charge in connection to killing his wife with an axe in 2024. Authorities say he killed his wife, 29-year-old Elizabeth Salazar, by hitting her with an axe at their apartment on the 300 block of Rhode Island Street.

A Buffalo man, 44 year old Wendell Brooks, has been charged with second-degree manslaughter, leaving the scene of an incident without reporting resulting in death, and tampering with physical evidence following the death of a Buffalo woman in July, the Erie County District Attorney’s Office said Monday.

22 year old Iyanna Scott of Buffalo pleaded guilty to manslaughter last week after she hit and killed a man following an argument in Cheektowaga last May.
