Code Blue is in effect tonight through Wednesday morning (Feb. 18) in the city of Lockport due to forecasted overnight below-freezing temperatures, the Niagara County Department of Social Services announced.
Empire State Development (ESD) announced Tuesday that a Canadian company will begin manufacturing in Niagara Falls. According to a spokesperson for ESD, Metal Craft Spinning and Stamping Ltd. will take control of a 24,760-square-foot facility located at 4120 Hyde Park Road.
Two women have been arraigned in connection with the stabbing at the Walden Galleria. Lakeya N. Richerson, 22 and Joshalyn S. Paul, 21, both of Buffalo, were arraigned Saturday in Cheektowaga Town Court. Richerson and Paul are each been charged with three counts of Assault in the Second Degree and one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree.
