Five adults and two children were displaced by a fire in Lockport just after midnight on Sunday, the Lockport Fire Department said. The fire occurred at 216 West Ave. The bulk of the fire occurred in the attic, officials said, and it caused approximately $150,000 in damages.

After losing their North Tonawanda home in a fire in November, Belynda Zornick and her family hosted a basket raffle event on Sunday to help raise money to rebuild their home.

The Erie County Board of Elections on Sunday released the Day 9 early voting total for the 61st State Senate District race — and the final total for it.
There were 1,386 ballots cast on the ninth day of early voting across the county, board of elections commissioners Ralph Mohr and Howard Johnson said on Sunday evening through a statement. That brought the final total to 7,827 ballots.
