The Bills are promoting offensive coordinator Joe Brady to head coach, the team announced Tuesday. Brady, 36, has spent the past two and a half seasons as the team’s offensive coordinator. He agreed to a five-year deal.

The cause of a house fire on 17th Street in Niagara Falls Monday appears to be electrical in nature but remains under investigation. Niagara Falls firefighters responded to the scene in the 600 block of 17th Street around 3:10 p.m. for reports of a possible structure fire after a 9-1-1 caller reported seeming smoke coming from the building.

While approvals are coming for People’s Inc.’s new senior apartment complex in North Tonawanda, do not expect it to open for residents in the near future. Renovations aren’t planned until at least 2027.

Kiddie Corner Consignment has relocated from Ransomville to more spacious quarters in Lockport, where an expanded adult clothing section is in the works. Kiddie Corner opened at 859 Davison Road, in the space formerly occupied by HoneyBunz salon, earlier this month.
