Code Blue is in effect through Tuesday morning (Jan. 20) in the city of Lockport due to forecasted overnight below-freezing temperatures, the Niagara County Department of Social Services announced.
An 86-year-old woman is dead after she was struck by a vehicle early Friday morning, according to the West Seneca Police Department. Police said the woman from West Seneca was struck around 5 a.m. in the area of Center Road east of Dutchess Drive.
