Two teens died early Saturday morning after an SUV carrying six teens left the roadway and struck a utility pole in the Allegany County. The crash happened at 2:24 a.m. Saturday. According to New York State Police, a 2020 Buick Encore carrying six teens failed to navigate a sharp curve on Tarantine Boulevard in the Town of Wellsville, left the roadway, then hit the pole on the driver’s side.

A fire broke out Friday afternoon in Niagara County, where all residents evacuated safely before law enforcement and fire personnel arrived on the scene.No injuries were reported following the house fire on the 2600 block of Transit Road in Newfane. The fire was called into Niagara County Sheriff’s Communication Center around 1 p.m. Friday.

The New York State Department of Health is warning parents and caregivers to stop using certain ByHeart powdered infant formula products after the company voluntarily recalled specific lots tied to a multistate outbreak of infant botulism. The FDA announced the recall on Saturday, following 13 reported cases across 10 states.
