A Buffalo woman, 23 year old Jnaya Johnson, was arrested and charged after allegedly deploying pepper spray last month at the Longhorn Steakhouse in Cheektowaga.

Gov. Kathy Hochul announced on Monday decreased crime rates in Erie County compared to last year, down 14%, which she attributes to the implementation of new technology in police agencies across the state.

The Niagara County Department of Employment and Training will hold its final job fair of 2025 at Oppenheim Park, 2713 Niagara Falls Boulevard, from noon to 3 p.m. Wednesday. Approximately 70 companies with open positions have signed up to take part.

The Lockport Common Council Meeting Wednesday will be held at a different time than usual. The meeting will convene at 5:00pm in the Common Council Chambers, One Locks Plaza, Lockport. There will also be no public comment that evening

Volunteers, including local high school students, came together at Mount Calvary Cemetery on Sunday to restore grave markers of veterans who served in the armed forces, ensuring their final resting places remain visible and honored.
