Niagara Falls city leaders say the former Junior’s Truck Stop on Niagara Falls Boulevard will be turned into a trades training facility. The Niagara Falls City Council sold the former truck stop to the Buffalo and Niagara County Building Construction and Trades Council for just $1.

A Niagara Falls woman, 28 year old Allyson Roberts, was arrested Saturday night after allegedly driving intoxicated with a child in a car seat, according to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office. She was pulled over in front of 2263 Saunders Settlement Road, east of Walmore Road, in the Town of Lewiston.

The 2025 Western New York Walk for Apraxia will be held Sept. 13 at Cheektowaga Town Park to benefit children with apraxia of speech (CAS). The event begins at 10 a.m. Registration is free and open to everyone.
