A Fredonia man, 38 year old John Wallace Buchanan, was sentenced to serve 11 years and three months in prison after selling drugs that led to the fatal overdose of a man in 2022.

An investigation is underway after a shooting in Cattaraugus County left two men, ages 18 and 23, dead on Tuesday. A third man, also 23, sustained minor injuries and was treated at ECMC before being released the same day. Police say he is cooperating with the investigation.

1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East reached a three-year tentative agreement with Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and Health Home Services after five months of contract talks.

In Buffalo, The Old Pink, located at 223 Allen Street, and the former home of Mulligan’s Brick Bar, at 229 Allen Street, are now under contract to be sold to Buffalo attorney and real estate developer Kyle Roche.
