A North Tonawanda woman, 43 year old Amber Clark, admitted to hitting an e-bicyclist resulting in serious injury while driving under the influence of drugs last year on Niagara Falls Boulevard.

Early voting begins on Saturday for the Buffalo mayor primary election. There are 11 locations across Buffalo during the early voting period, which lasts until June 22.

North Tonawanda Police responded to reports of shots fired on Thursday afternoon. Around 12:40 p.m. reports were made that shots had been fired on the 400 block of Oliver Street. They ended up tracking down a 16 year old male suspect in Buffalo.

A coach from Oakfield-Alabama Schools in Genesee County has been taken off the job as authorities investigate allegations of inappropriate conduct with a student.

DEC reports that hunters in New York harvested an estimated 223,304 deer during the 2024-25 hunting seasons. More than 4,000 of those were taken in Niagara County.
