The 50501 Movement hosted a second “Hands Off!” protest on Saturday in Niagara Square, which marked one of hundreds of similar protests against President Donald Trump and his administration that took place across the nation this weekend.

A gas explosion in Buffalo’s Fruit Belt neighborhood Friday night resulted in $175,000 in damages, officials said. Fire crews responded to a fire at 167 Orange St. around 7:45 p.m.

A brush fire led to a small commercial fire in the Town of Wheatfield on Sunday evening. It happened at about 6pm Sunday at 2139 Lockport Road.

A car crashed into a Town of Hamburg home on Sunday evening. The incident happened on Green Meadow Court, near Amsdell Road. There’s no cause of the crash at this moment. No one was home at the time.

The Historical Association of Lewiston will be taking “A Trip Back in Time to the Larkin Administration Building” with Jerry Puma at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Lutheran Church of the Messiah Fellowship Hall, 915 Oneida St., Lewiston.
