A couple has been charged with manslaughter for allegedly causing the death of their infant daughter in 2023. Prosecutors say Luis Gonzalez, Jr., 25, and Kitrina Udrea, 22, are accused of causing the death of 2 1/2 month old Londyn Gonzalez.

Five arrests were made after multiple fights broke out involving large groups of youths and young adults at this year’s Kenmore Days, a three-day festival at Mang Park.

Under an outdoor dining law passed unanimously on Tuesday by the Kenmore Village Board, businesses will have to pay $100 to obtain a permit in order to have outdoor dining. They will also need to keep a five-foot clearance on sidewalks so pedestrians can still walk freely.

There are some hints of when the federal murder trial and death penalty proceeding for the defendant in the Tops mass shooting case could begin, but there is nothing definite on any date set by the judge. There could be more discussions June 30th.

A man was shot and killed on Shirley Avenue on Monday night. Officers found a male victim with a gunshot wound to the head, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Attorneys for the convicted owner of Pharaoh’s Gentlemen’s Club, Peter Gerace, accused a juror of suggesting the defendant’s decision not to testify or call witnesses had influenced his vote.

The Town of Lewiston has hired lawyer Edward Perlman of the firm Magavern Magavern Grimm to handle the FOIL requests the Lewiston Police Department receives.

A California man was arrested by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) with 78 pounds of marijuana after he said he made a wrong turn onto the Peace Bridge Sunday, according to CBP.

A homeless man who police say was a squatter in a Buffalo house last year when he killed two repairmen was found guilty Friday of multiple charges of murder and weapons possession.

Lane closures on a section of Niagara Falls Boulevard will take place starting Monday to pave the road. The closures will occur from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. from June 16 through June 20, between the Niagara County line and Green Acres Road in the towns of Amherst and Tonawanda.

Niagara Falls firefighters had use both their firefighting and rescue experience while responding to an incident at the Niagara Gorge on Saturday. Emergency crews were called to the gorge near the end of Cedar Avenue following reports of smoke in the area.

Two people were injured after a two-vehicle crash occurred early Saturday night in the Town of Oakfield. Police received a report of the crash at 6:19 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 262 and Fisher Road.

A North Tonawanda woman, 43 year old Amber Clark, admitted to hitting an e-bicyclist resulting in serious injury while driving under the influence of drugs last year on Niagara Falls Boulevard.

Early voting begins on Saturday for the Buffalo mayor primary election. There are 11 locations across Buffalo during the early voting period, which lasts until June 22.

North Tonawanda Police responded to reports of shots fired on Thursday afternoon. Around 12:40 p.m. reports were made that shots had been fired on the 400 block of Oliver Street. They ended up tracking down a 16 year old male suspect in Buffalo.

DEC reports that hunters in New York harvested an estimated 223,304 deer during the 2024-25 hunting seasons. More than 4,000 of those were taken in Niagara County.

An Amherst man has been sentenced to 18 years to life in prison for a fatal shooting in Buffalo’s Allentown neighborhood in 2023. Nigel Flint, 29, shot and killed 28-year-old Darnell Lynch, Jr. on the 200 block of Allen Street on Sept. 16, 2023. Lynch died at the scene.

A federal judge overseeing the case against Payton Gendron is demanding answers from the defense after a series of requests for more time. He’s signaling that delays will no longer be tolerated.

Two people were injured following a shooting Wednesday night on Buffalo’s West Side. Police responded to a shooting call just after 9 p.m. in the area of Grant Street and Ferguson Avenue, where two male victims were found with what appear to be non-life-threatening injuries.
