Two teens died early Saturday morning after an SUV carrying six teens left the roadway and struck a utility pole in the Allegany County. The crash happened at 2:24 a.m. Saturday. According to New York State Police, a 2020 Buick Encore carrying six teens failed to navigate a sharp curve on Tarantine Boulevard in the Town of Wellsville, left the roadway, then hit the pole on the driver’s side.
A fire broke out Friday afternoon in Niagara County, where all residents evacuated safely before law enforcement and fire personnel arrived on the scene.No injuries were reported following the house fire on the 2600 block of Transit Road in Newfane. Investigation ongoing for fire in Harris Hill
An investigation is underway after a garage caught fire early Friday morning. According to the Amherst Central Fire Alarm Office, Harris Hill firefighters responded to a house on Main Street and found a garage fully engulfed in flames around 2am. Firefighters say all occupants were safely out of the home. The cause of the fire has not been determined at this time. The Erie County Sheriff’s Fire Inspectors are leading the investigation.

An alligator was seized from a home in the Leroy neighborhood of Buffalo earlier this week during a drug trafficking investigation.
