The Paul William Beltz law firm, was demolished by fire on Thursday. Firefighters fought the 4-alarm fire for several hours. Buffalo Fire Battalion Chief Patrick Lalley said firefighters located the fire on the second floor of the building, and moved quickly from to the third floor, then to the fourth before making it to the roof. Fire officials will determine if the building has to be torn down.
As Child Abuse Prevention Month wraps up at the end of April, sadly the problem itself isn’t going isn’t going away. Statistics show 1 in 10 children in Erie County will be abused by the time they turn 18. That is one of the highest rates of child abuse in the state. If it’s suspected a child is abused, there is a place they can go to get all the help and resources they need in one place.
Two people are dead after a driver in a stolen car allegedly fled from police and hit another vehicle head-on near the Town of Warsaw. Officials say a person driving a car previously reported stolen out of Nassau County was fleeing from police around 8:20 a.m. Friday following a failed traffic stop. The fleeing vehicle then collided head-on with another vehicle on State Route 20A at the border of Warsaw and Orangeville, officials said.

The Buffalo Bills will wear a new uniform on at least one occasion next season. No one knows what the color scheme will be. What will the helmet look like? Again, that’s anyone’s guess. The NFL and Nike, during the NFL Draft, revealed something called Rivalries, which promises new uniforms and fan gear that’s inspired by the team’s community.
Motorists with a heavy foot will continue to pay the price, as Niagara Region’s automated speed enforcement cameras are to be moved to eight new community safety zones this month. “It’s always been our process to rotate the cameras every 90 days,” said Scott Fraser, associate director of transportation planning. Fraser said starting next week, the cameras will begin moving from where they have been since January.

The cause has been determined for a large fire at the Paul William Beltz law firm office building on Thursday afternoon. The fire started after a burner on a second-floor electric stove was left on. The cause appears to be accidental.
