One person is dead and another was hurt after a shooting in downtown Buffalo Saturday around 2:20 a.m. in the area of West Chippewa Street and Pearl Street.

28 year old Megan White has been arrested and arraigned on murder charges after an investigation by the Salamanca Police department into the death of a female living in the upper residence of 117 River St. in the City of Salamanca. Police say White lives there, too.

The New York Power Authority issued its first solicitations for its new planned nuclear power facility, one each for interested communities and developers. The state is looking to start construction by 2033.

The Erie County Board of Elections on Sunday released the final, nine-day total for general election early voting. There were 4,753 ballots cast on the ninth day of early voting across Erie County for Nov. 4 general election.
