Over 100 small dogs were rescued from an Auburn home in what city officials call “one of the largest animal rescue efforts in Auburn’s history.The Auburn Police Department said the investigation began as a routine welfare check for a small group of dogs. After two separate operations over the course of a week, a total of 103 dogs were surrendered by the owner of the home.

Many Verizon customers across the U.S. are seeing their phones in “SOS mode” and reporting outage issues Saturday. More than 20,000 customers reported issues with their cell service, according to outage tracking website DownDetector. Reports began flooding in just after noon ET. Not all Verizon customers were seeing the outage issue Saturday. It’s not yet known why some peoples’ phones were working on Verizon and others weren’t.
