Gov. Kathy Hochul met with Border Czar Tom Homan in Albany on Friday morning to voice her concerns about U.S. immigration policy. The governor held a news conference after that meeting reiterating that the president promised her that he would not engage in a federal immigration surge in New York unless she asked for one, and she said she told Tom Homan she would never ask for one.
