A pedestrian was rushed to a hospital after being struck by a vehicle Friday afternoon in Allentown.The incident happened around 3:15 p.m. Friday on Elmwood Avenue, according to a Buffalo Police spokesperson. The person driving the vehicle remained on the scene. The pedestrian was taken to Erie County Medical Center to be treated for serious but non- life-threatening injuries.
