City of Lockport issued a winter weather travel advisory that’s effective through Friday. Mayor John Lombardi says if you must travel, allow extra time, reduce speed, and use caution on bridges and untreated side streets.

A cold weather advisory will be in place for Niagara, Orleans and Genesee counties from 7 p.m. Friday until 10 a.m. Saturday. Expect wind chill values between -15 to -25 on Friday.
