A Cheektowaga man has pleaded guilty in connection to the death of a toddler last year. 31 year old Jahmil Paisley admitted to a manslaughter charge in the death of 21-month-old Logan Paisley at an apartment on Slate Creek Drive in Cheektowaga on Oct. 18, 2024. The child was pronounced dead at Mercy Hospital. It is unclear how the child died.
A drug trafficker will spend the rest of his life in prison for the 2019 murder of a federal informant. Alphonso Payne, 32, was sentenced to life in prison plus 15 years in U.S. District Court, for murdering federal informant, Joshua Jalovick, in the backyard of a home on Freund Avenue in Buffalo’s Schiller Park neighborhood on July 1, 2019.
A Lockport man was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison after he distributed child pornography of a prepubescent girl. Improper videos of a girl with a man were sent by Gerard Dzierzanowski in 2023. The 53-year-old sent them while in communication with someone he believed to be a 13-year-old girl on the messaging apps Whisper and Kik.
