The Town of Tonawanda is rolling back its original plans to run its own ambulance service. On Monday, officials voted on a new two-year contract with Twin City Ambulance, the provider that currently provides emergency response services to the town.

Reverend Patrick O’Keefe, who has served several churches in Genesee County, has been suspended for alleged sexual harassment of adults, the Buffalo Diocese said Tuesday.

A man was shot and killed on Olympic Avenue on Buffalo’s East Side on Monday night. Officers arrived on the scene near the intersection of Olympic Avenue and Alma Avenue shortly before 9:30 p.m. A 32-year-old man had been shot, officials said, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Early voting for the Nov. 4 general election opens to all registered voters on Saturday. In Niagara County, voters can vote in-person before Election Day at one of the four designated early voting sites. Any eligible voter can vote early.

Lewiston’s Stone House will see a new tenant move inside next year. Olcott Lobster Company announced it is moving into the 755 Center St. space for its second location. It plans on opening this coming May and having a similar operating season to the original.
