A Western New York teacher has been placed on administrative leave in connection to a series of social media posts following Charlie Kirk’s shooting death earlier this week.Merritt Holly, superintendent of schools for the LeRoy Central School District, posted a message on the district website. It included a message from the teacher, as well, calling the posts “inappropriate, inflammatory, and offensive.”
.A former Jericho Road accountant will spend three months in prison after admitting he stole nearly $600,000 from the nonprofit. Prosecutors say 30-year-old Dejan Karlovic submitted fake invoices last year, making them look like resettlement expenses, then paid them off with the agency’s credit cards. Karlovic was also ordered to pay back the full amount, totaling $584,884.99, forfeit a BMW, a pickup truck, and more than $240,000 in cash and accounts.
