Buffalo Fire and Police crews were on the scene of a 3rd-alarm fire that broke out Saturday afternoon in North Buffalo. The fire was at a three-story apartment complex at 2439 Delaware Ave., just north of Hertel Avenue. AMR and emergency medical crews were also on scene.Multiple residents were rescued from the building, and 15 people have been treated at the scene.

A Western New York woman was arrested in connection to what police called forged rabies vaccination certificates. The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office recently arrested 43-year-old Jessica A. Musall of Perry following an investigation. It all began after the Town of Perry raised concerns about the validity of a rabies vaccination certificate.

The Buffalo Sewer Authority has reached a settlement with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation over past violations, agreeing to pay a $20,000 penalty and invest at least $100,000 in improvements at Roosevelt Park
