A Western New York dog rescue is working to rebuild after a devastating fire destroyed the home of its president, wiping out supplies and killing four puppies. The rescue, Allie & Pals, relies entirely on volunteers and foster families since it does not operate a brick-and-mortar facility. The fire left the group scrambling to cover costs of boarding displaced dogs while replacing essential supplies.
