A serious injury accident closed a portion of Niagara Falls Boulevard in the Town of Tonawanda on Saturday afternoon. The crash closed the southbound lanes of Niagara Falls Boulevard, starting at Faragut Avenue, shortly before 1 p.m. The road reopened to some traffic around 4 p.m., according to NITTEC. There was no immediate word on how many vehicles were involved or the extent of the injuries reported.
Wilkeson Pointe in Buffalo’s Outer Harbor has officially reopened after an $11 million renovation designed to boost recreation and tourism in the region. Gov. Kathy Hochul visited the site Thursday to celebrate the grand opening and highlight the state’s broader $87 million plan to revamp the Outer Harbor. expanding public access and enhancing the overall visitor experience.
