Work on the restoration of the historic Hotel Niagara is expected to resume this fall after the USA Niagara Development Corp. Board of Directors met Tuesday and authorized an additional $4 million in incentives toward the project.

A Lancaster probationary police officer has been fired – more than a month after a shooting at his home. Officer John Lapiana was removed for cause after a woman was shot in the leg inside a home on Enchanted Forest North on June 11th.

A man from Kenmore was arrested mid-race at Ironman Lake Placid after he left his 9-year-old son alone for nearly 10 hours while he ran the race.
