A Niagara Falls man was sentenced to 40 years to life in prison for a murder in 2023. 40 year old Juan Ubiles shot and killed 44-year-old Gregory Vincent of Niagara Falls on the 2000 block of 18th Street on June 19, 2023.
A former treasurer for the Sheridan Park Volunteer Fire Company in Tonawanda, 41 year old James Hoffman of Depew, admitted to stealing nearly $450,000 from the organization over a period of six years.
