A Buffalo man has been sentenced to 20 years to life in prison on charges related to a murder and two other attacks. Emanuel Stokes, 29, shot and killed 34-year-old Nicholas Calhoun in the area of Kehr Street and Urban Street during the early morning hours of May 12, 2024.

Niagara Falls police are investigating a death of a male victim that occurred last week. Police responded to the 2400 block of Niagara Avenue around 11 p.m. on July 3, where a man was unconscious.
