A 26-year-old man from Jamestown is dead after he crashed his motorcycle into a telephone pole Sunday morning. 26 year old Kyle Pitts was driving the motorcycle when he left the roadway and struck the pole.

A 38-year-old Lockport man is recovering after he was taken to Erie County Medical Center with severe injuries to one of his hands following an accident involving fireworks in Pendleton on Friday night.

A 19-year-old died in a two-vehicle crash late Friday night on Grand Island. Authorities say a Toyota Camry, operated by 19-year-old Tamim Akbari, struck the rear end of a Lexus SUV that was slowing down in traffic in the right lane.

Two stabbings and the use of fireworks and pepper spray were reported following a weekend party among juveniles in the City of Buffalo. Police say it happened late Saturday night near Grider and Delevan.
