SUNY Niagara’s budget for the 2025-26 school year will see a major increase and is set at $51.4 million in expenses. That is a 6.7% increase from the 2024-25 school year, at $48.16 million.

A man was shot and killed on Shirley Avenue on Monday night. Officers found a male victim with a gunshot wound to the head, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
