Several former New York State correction officers are suing the state and the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (DOCCS) to get their jobs back.

Agents with the FBI and the DEA fanned out through the city and town of Lockport Tuesday morning as part of what was described by a law enforcement source as “a lengthy and complex” investigation into a drug distribution network.

The Buffalo Police Department is looking for the community’s help in locating 17-year-old Nade Oo, described as an Asian female with brown eyes and black shoulder-length hair. She stands at 5’2″ tall and weighs 110 lbs.

Workers at a handful of local nursing homes have reached new three-year contract agreements with their employers after they originally planned to participate in a week-long strike late last month.
