The Paul William Beltz law firm, was demolished by fire on Thursday. Firefighters fought the 4-alarm fire for several hours. Buffalo Fire Battalion Chief Patrick Lalley said firefighters located the fire on the second floor of the building, and moved quickly from to the third floor, then to the fourth before making it to the roof. Fire officials will determine if the building has to be torn down.

Statistics show 1 in 10 children in Erie County will be abused by the time they turn 18. That is one of the highest rates of child abuse in the state. Two people are dead after a driver in a stolen car allegedly fled from police and hit another vehicle head-on near the Town of Warsaw. Officials say a person driving a car previously reported stolen out of Nassau County was fleeing from police around 8:20 a.m. Friday following a failed traffic stop. The fleeing vehicle then collided head-on with another vehicle on State Route 20A at the border of Warsaw and Orangeville, officials said.
