Proper funding for the Veterans Administration has been an issue spanning both the current and previous administrations in the White House and for Congress. A VA Chief of Staff memo stated there could be up to 83,000 VA job cuts in the coming months.
Buffalo’s independent Nativity Miguel School ready to expand in new location. The faith-based middle school is moving to a new location in Buffalo. Enrollment is now open for grades 5-8.
According to the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision, a correction officer at Groveland Correctional Facility died in state housing. The officer was 53-year-old David Hilburger from Angola. The sister of the victim said that Hilburger had been feeling sick, but fearing retaliation from Groveland Correctional Facility, he never sought medical attention.
