One person was hurt when the first floor of a Hertel Avenue church partially collapsed on Wednesday morning at North Gate Christian Community, located at 60 Hertel in North Buffalo, just before 11 a.m.

A fire that broke out Wednesday morning caused an estimated $250,000 in damage to an Amherst building. The fire occurred just before 9 a.m. at 414 Longmeadow Road.
